Jawline Enhancements with AF Cosmetic Clinic

In this video I’m still a TOUCH swollen because I wanted to get this video done for Dr Fidal, so the width of my face is a little wide still as I’m writing this over a week later and it’s gone down completely, so minor note before I go in with the details for this video.

So I’m VERY excited for my first ever augmentation! This is something that I’ve been looking at for a long while and I spoke to my friend about my fear of this procedure going wrong, and making my face look wide, because my ambition is to have more of a V-Line definition to my jaw. I spoke to Dr Fidal and I described this and when we arranged to do some collaborations together, I jumped at the chance to do this one because it is still quite a new process. A lot of people have had jawline strengthening which results in a very wide face, where as this technique almost lifts the lower face back slightly by injecting at the back of the jawline, and lining the edge. It’s a little different than injecting down into the jaw and increasing the shape. So I was floored!

We agreed on the plan of action and looked at the symmetry differences between both sides, and I double checked that we could do this by subtly lining and pulling back rather than building outwards, and obviously as you can see in the video it was amazing. The treatment didn’t hurt at all, the cannula which was placed vertically up from the jawline to the ear, and horizontally along the jawline to the chin, was easy and felt a bit ‘tuggy’ under the skin. Didn’t hurt at all! The injection part was a sort of ball of filler at the back of the bone, so right at the very back and this lifts the lower face.

It was a little swollen when I got home and the obvious after care is essential, no hot or cold temperature extremes for 24 hours and no massaging, and I got a bit scared because I thought that maybe I had moved the filler on the left side because I noticed it looked a little puffy, but it was simply the swelling. Two and a bit weeks later it’s pretty much gone down and looks immaculate, so I’m so happy with the results. It gave me the support I needed since I corrected my posture and looks perfect.
