Ultherapy with London Cosmetic Skin Clinic Part I

Hey guys!

I wanted to document my full surgical experience in the video above, to give people a full insight into all the treatments I’ve tried and tested. The one that I’ve been most excited about is the Ultherapy treatment which is a type of lifting and skin tightening treatment that targets sagging skin, lines, poor collagen and the vectors of the face. I have been in chats with the wonderful Cosmetic Skin Clinic for over a year because this treatment is not cheap, and it is extremely highly regarded as they have won several awards for the fantastic results and clinic space.

The process is an applicator that is applied in quadrants to the face, the skin is heated to a certain depth and the underlying tissue contracts and builds collagen. It’s a sophisticated treatment and there are two depths that you endure and for me, my concerns have been my jawline as I’ve got my back corrected and I stand up straight, I feel my skin around my jawline isn’t as flawless as it was when I was younger. I had the lower face, so pretty much from ear to mouth and down, and this took place over about an hour.

The type of concerns that can be targeted with the Ultherapy treatment are eyelids, brow lifting, sagging skin, it’s truly fantastic and there is an ideal patient which is an older person who is looking for a non surgical lift, because in those cases the results are extreme. You can really see a huge difference. The younger demographic which I fit in, are more focused on creating collagen to prevent ageing, and to help with the ‘tech neck’ concept from leaning over computers.

Here’s a photo from the day before the treatment, and here’s a photo of the immediate lifting effect that happens straight after treatment. This is temporary and it takes about 6 months to show the final after, which I’ll share in part 2.

Immediately after the treatment I felt that it looked incredible and you get a temporary lift, it really tightened the skin up and I felt like this would showcase the before and after in a clear way.

I have a full video review coming which will show the procedure, but to give some insight, you are advised to numb the face with topical treatment which they offer on location. You also take a couple of pain medications as they are concerned with the comfort of your treatment. I have had extensive laser hair removal which is around the same area, which has been an 8 out of 10 in terms of pain, so this was a breeze. It’s not even up at a 3, I thought it was easier than any type of Botox or filler injections.
