Spicy Cauliflower Wings

Hey guys!

I wanted to create another recipe focusing on how to use ingredients that we conventionally throw away and I chose to do a classic comfort food, spicy wings!

Ingredients

  • Whole head of cauliflower

  • Vegan Mayonnaise

  • Hot Sauce

  • Red Chili

  • Lemon Juice

  • Olive Oil

  • White Pepper

  • Black Pepper

  • Chives

  • Raw Superfood Cocoa

We need to wash, slice and keep the leaves, they take about ten minutes in the oven with some salt, oil, pepper, lemon juice. It takes about ten minutes to bake. The flourets take 10 minute to boil, then drain, then season, roast for twenty.

So this is a variation of my Chilli Chocolate BBQ sauce and is super easy to whip up and store, this time I decided to use raw EarthEcho Cocoa Bliss Superfood to boost the flavour and add a delicious raw cocoa to it. Everything basically involves creating a mix of spices as listed before, chilli, oil, white vinegar, chocolate or fruit, brown sugar, and tomato paste. I also added thyme and blended smooth, and it was banging! I go into detail in the sauce linked above.

All you do is add the sauce to the cauliflower and roast for another ten minutes, they’re melt in the mouth fireballs and the roasted cauli leaves are reminiscent of kale chips. Really amazing and would be ideal dressed in salsa and cheese like a nacho. Check them out for some healthy alternatives to carbs and I added some of my vegan mayo from the salad linked above!
