Bee Focus

Hey guys!

Part 1 of my Bee Research.

I’ve been super interested in looking into the history of bees after spending the summer chasing them around my family garden, and whilst we were venturing to a garden centre in Worthing I found this awesome exhibit that gives information about the bee populations, bee keeping and some friendly plants. In France the house has some bee hives, so I’ve always been really interested in learning about how to create more of a vegan friendly honey source as I’m not clued up enough about the impact of taking honey from bees. I also don’t know how pure honey sold in stores is, a lot have added sugar. So it’s a mix of my learning and my interests. Honey is a funny thing because I don’t eat sugar, so when recipes call for sugar I try and think of ways to make it more natural and honey is an obvious go to, but that’s not something that I would find hard omitting entirely from my diet and I have mentioned rice based alternatives to honey on here. But what I’m more invested in is the topical applications in skincare as there’s nothing remotely like honey for skincare. It’s something that I think deserves investigation

I have been adding information about wildlife and documenting some beautiful places I like to go to reset, so check out the information in the photos below to learn some more interesting bee facts.
