No Needle Injections

Hey guys!

I wanted to do another surgery series promotion and talk through some of my recent work with the wonderful clinic Amabelle. Amabelle sent me a DM on Instagram when I was looking through some of the cryogenic lipo work and we talked about some of the procedures I was interested in. One of these was the Lipoglaze, the brand name for that lipo treatment and the other was the HyGlow no needle filler treatments.

I’ve never been interested in augmenting my lips so I wasn’t really a candidate for that treatment, but my best friend and work teammate Abbey wanted to have something done to hers, so I thought let’s film her video and we have it as an Agitprop inclusive.

So the procedure was quite straight forward but I wanted to go into the type of hyaluronic acid used as it differs from a conventional treatment with a needle. I went into a bit of the science in my last blog about what the regular needle product is made of so this should help you understand. With this machine, the tip is not a sharp needle or a cannula, it is actually a very narrow and discreet pipe which touches the skin, it’s encased in a test tube-like nozzle that contains the product. It’s more of a pressurized application, a needle slices into the skin, this blasts into the skin. It sounds a bit scary but it’s dependent on what you want to do, if you want a precise application then this is not for you, it’s for soft pads of fat, not for delicate areas. You can’t control the specific type of insertion of the product, but you can get a dispersed result. This also means that the type of hyaluronic acid is not as cross bonding as in conventional injections because it would be too heavy to go into the skin, it’s more like mesotherapy which has vitamins and a less viscose texture.

The results last almost as long as a conventional filler and you can get swelling, but if you have a horrendous phobia of needles then it’s an alternative. Next on the agenda was the cryogenic liposuction which is not actually liposuction. It hoovers you into a Tupperware box type of nozzle, whilst your skin is being protected by a membrane and it cools the fat for an hour to a temperature where the fat cells actually burst. Your body then excretes the fat that’s destroyed out of your body as waste and it is a huge improvement. It actually works very well and is a successful treatment if you have areas of fat that just won’t budge.

For me, I’ve never been plus size but I have a very feminine shape. As I mentioned in previous blogs, my theory was to put on enough weight that my face would soften, but I would be able to remove the excess in my body so this worked really well in my project. I was able to target areas like the width of my upper hips, which were very female in shape to create more of a slimmer appearance. I also targeted my lower abdomen and it worked phenomenally. I saw such a difference and really enjoyed the transformation as there was absolutely no downtime.

I’ve had a type of fat-dissolving injection in my jawline before which had seven weeks of extreme swelling and compared to that treatment, it was painless, and did not have any symptoms. The results were very noticeable in a week and even after the treatment, where your skin feels a bit tender and numb, it was not painful at all. Lipoglaze is a specific brand but there’s a few on the market, I would highly recommend!

Check out the videos and my previous blogs and let me know what you think of the results!
